Over a million iPhones have been sold. Have you: bought one, considered it, or decided it's not for you?
I haven't bought one yet, but I want one. I am probably going to wait until my contract is up with ATT next August and get one then, if I can afford it. By then, the SDK will be in a lot of developer's hands and there should be some really good, legit apps out there for it. Apps that won't cause your iPhone to brick with the next update.
I don't want to get one and be forced into a 2 year contract that I won't be able to afford after I got back to school. I may just get an iPod touch and keep my current phone. But I hate my Razr. What I will probably end up doing, is getting a really cheap plan and a cheap phone or a pay as you go phone since I hardly ever use my phone as it is. The Palm Centro is a pretty sweet phone though. Eh, I'll figure it all out someday.
2 words.... It Rocks!!
I propose that it is illegal to work on rainy Monday's. You must stay in bed until you are fully rested or until Tuesday. If it is still raining on Tuesday, you must stay in bed.
It is funny what you stumble upon when searching the internet. I came across a postal history website today. It has a lot of old envelopes and postmarked stamps from the late 1800's and early 1900's. It has the option to search by state, and by county. So I did. I searched the county that I grew up in and that most of my family is from and I found something remarkable.
It is an envelope from my great grandfather's chicken hatchery mailed in 1929. I grew up my whole life listening to stories from my grandma about growing up at the hatchery. She was born in 1930. Come to find out, they guy is selling it for $10. So I bought it! I am going to frame it and give it to my grandma for Christmas. Unfortunately, the surprise won't be nearly as big as it could be, I emailed her the picture before I realized it was for sale. Bummer.

I think that I am going to give Ubuntu a shot. I have a free 50 gig partition on my laptop that is begging to be used. It would be nice to use it for school. As it is right now, I am temped by World of Warcraft every time I log in to windows. Especially during class... I have heard people getting WoW to work in Ubuntu, but I don't have the patience.
So if I can get it to work, I am going to load Ubuntu and use it for school. I believe Open Office works quite well on Ubuntu. You have to love open source!
Led Zeppelin will finally offer their music online starting next month. Of the music you buy, about how much of it do you download and how much do you buy on physical formats (CDs, vinyl, etc.)?
I buy most of my music on iTunes. I don't buy music very often though. I really have to like the music, well love the music before I buy it. So iTunes works great for me. I buy one song here, one song there. The last CD I bought was the Shins new CD. I listened to a it a few times, but then put it on my iPod and if it comes up on the shuffle play, I will listen. The last CD that I bought that I have listened to the most was Angels and Airwaves. If for some reason I forget my iPod and don't have it in the car, I will listen to that CD. Actually, it is the only CD I have in my car. I took the rest of them out. When their new CD comes out I will probably buy it without listening first. I am a loyal listener now and am looking forward to the new CD.
