Well it has finally come, The Burning Crusade. I went and picked up my copy right at midnight and by 1am Tuesday I was online and on my way to Hellfire Peninsula. All I have to say is WoW!! (pun intended) The new area is awesome, the quests are fun and very rewarding. I am already replacing armor. Not only my pathetic Tier 0 pieces, but a few of my blue items from ZG that I spent DKP on.
The new area is laid out well, but you always have to watch your back or one of the gigantic level ?? Fel Reavers will sneak up on you. I have been spared so far, but others haven't been as lucky. One quest leads into another as most have in the game. So it is easy to lose track of time and easy to say...."just one more quest." I have gotten about 3/4 of the way to level 61. We already have a few 61's in my guild and a few 62's on the server. I am sure by the time I get home today there will be even more, probably some 63's even.
Another amazing thing to see is the Alliance and Horde questing and leveling in harmony. Sure there are a few out there killing to spoil others fun, but for the most part, those of us who are questing have given respect to each other. I have been ganked once, that's it. It as funny last night, a Horde druid was killing something and I came up to give him a hand to get it down faster. Well once the fight was done, I accidentally starting to attack the druid. I immediately stopped and did a /sorry. He just waved. I almost knew for sure he was going to retaliate, he didn't.
So, The Burning Crusade, Drop everything, quit your job and go play it now.
So I have taken the past month or so off from WoW. There were a few reasons.
1st reason, I didn't have time. My life has been incredibly hectic. I have gone through a divorce, moved, helped my grandma out taking her to and from the hospital to see my grandpa. Also my grandma has been living with us, and my computer was setup in the room she was staying in. I didn't want to bother her with all night raiding sessions and the cursing and laughing that comes with it.
2nd reason, our internet connection hasn't been the most reliable. Most of the time when I log in I am seeing 1800ms latency rates. Fairly hard to play with that. I think the problem has been solved though, we will see for sure.
I am looking forward in getting back into it. My guild has started fighting Onyxia. I still need to get attuned, but I am on the last step of that. Just need to run through UBRS once and I am good to go.
Hopefully I can start posting some of my experiences on here again.

This morning temperature on the way into work today.... 45 degrees!! Oh yeah! I love this weather. Put on a big hoodie and just chill, literally. I love the cold weather. I slept so good last night with the window open. Get under a couple blanket but your face is cold, good times.
On the WoW front, I changed from herb gathering to enchanting. I was sick of trying to find other people to enchant my stuff. So I decided to do it myself. So I have been running a lot of low level instances getting greens and occasional blue. I have got enchanting up to 220 or so without much money sunk into it. I have a feeling it will get expensive soon though. But I have gotten quite a few drops from RFK that will make up for that. As long as they sell.
